Lauri ReuterFounder and Partner at Nordic Foodtech VC Lauri Reuter is a scientist turned investor. He is one of the founders of Nordic Foodtech VC, the first investment fund focused explicitly on deep foodtech in the Nordics. Lauri holds a PhD in biotechnology and has done research on cell culture technology and protein production at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. |
Lauri believes in solving the hard underlying problems in food and farming with new technology built on scientific discovery and solid engineering – the deep foodtech. At Nordic Foodtech VC he manages investments in early-stage companies aiming to radically renew the food system – from the soil to the orbit and from new sources of protein to better ways of eating.
