Dr. Salla Franzén is an Investment manager at Navigare ventures, an early-stage investor specialized in science-driven companies. She has previously been the Group Chief Data Scientist at SEB and the Global VP of Customer and Physical meeting point domains at IKEA Retail (Ingka Digital). She works in the boundary between academic research and industrial applications of data, analytics, AI, and beyond. Salla has a passion for explaining technology and tricky scientific matters in as simple manners as possible. She has a PhD in mathematics and was voted Nordic data science professional of the year in 2021.
