Dr. Alex Basu is an Investment Manager at Navigare Ventures, an early-stage investor specialized in science-driven companies. He invests over a broad range of deep tech areas, primarily in the intersection of engineering and biology. Prior to joining Navigare, Alex was at Industrifonden, a multi-stage venture capital fund, and Alder, a sustainability-focused investment firm. He holds an M.Sc. in Biotechnology Engineering and a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University.
