Valérie Bures Partner & Managing Director for DACH XAnge

Valérie Bures is Partner and Managing Director for DACH at XAnge, one of Europe’s leading early-stage DeepTech and AI investors, with €800M AUM and offices in Paris, Berlin, and Brussels.

Valérie brings a rare dual perspective as both founder and investor. A computer scientist by training, she co-founded Europe’s largest women’s fitness chain, Mrs.Sporty, together with tennis legend Steffi Graf at just 24 years old. In 2011, she founded Pixformance Sports GmbH, bringing digital training stations to hundreds of physiotherapy clinics across Europe. In 2020, she launched VAHA, an interactive fitness-mirror company that streams personal training into users’ homes, expanding across Austria, Switzerland, and the UK, with football legend Manuel Neuer joining as an investor in 2021.

Since joining XAnge as Partner in 2022, Valérie has led the firm’s DACH investment strategy, backing the next generation of DeepTech, Energy, and AI companies across Germany and beyond. Her investments include Gitti, Knowunity, and GreenFusion.

A mother of three, Valérie is also an avid adventure athlete, with a passion for heli-skiing and kiteboarding.
