Pauliina Martikainen is a Partner at Maki.vc, a Nordic VC firm focused on seed investments in deep tech and brand-driven companies. She splits her time between covering the Nordics and focusing on European opportunities in large markets such as health tech.
From AI enterprise software to consumer applications, and from health to food technologies, Pauliina’s investments have covered a range of deep tech categories. Before joining Maki.vc, Pauliina co-founded Wave Ventures, a pre-seed VC fund investing in transformative technologies across the Nordics. Prior to making the shift into venture capital, she worked in the field of marketing and communications with global brands in industries such as pharma and food.
