Max is an investor at Zero Carbon Capital, a leading European deep tech climate fund. He holds a PhD in Catalysis and a Master’s in Chemistry. Prior to joining Zero Carbon, Max worked at Extantia Capital, where he sourced investments and led deep dives on raw materials, battery recycling and direct lithium extraction. He also gained operational experience at Heraeus Precious Metals, leading projects related to the valorisation of carbon dioxide and the hydrogen economy
