Matiss Neimanis

Matiss Neimanis is a Partner at Buildit VC, an early-stage venture capital fund investing in industrial technology, IoT, and robotics. He leads Buildit since 2017 and oversees the a portfolio of more than 50 companies. Currently Buildit has a new fund with fresh powder of 21M EUR. Before joining Buildit, he spent nearly a decade as Director of the University of Latvia Innovation Center and co-founded the Green Technology Incubator in Riga in 2014 — the first in Latvia to focus on technology-intensive ventures. He usually helps founders with the soft side of the business: motivation, finding, defining, and aligning one’s life goals with business.
