Maria is a Partner at Vsquared Ventures, where she leads new investments and supports portfolio companies on fundraising, strategic finance, scale-up execution, and special situations. She brings 14+ years of investment experience across venture, infrastructure, energy, and global macro.

Before Vsquared, she led VC fund-of-funds and growth co-investments at Pragma Wealth Management, and was a seed-stage Principal at Promus Ventures, a US-based deeptech fund. She began her venture career at InnoCells, Banco Sabadell’s corporate venture arm, investing in fintech and insurtech. Earlier, she spent six years in hedge funds covering global macro EM and long/short infrastructure and energy.

Based in Munich, Maria has also worked across New York, London, and Madrid, and serves as a strategist for a defence company. She holds a BA from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from Imperial College and CUHK.
