Leonora Vesterbacka holds a PhD in Physics from ETH Zürich, with years of research experience of large scale data analysis at CERN as well as applied machine learning as a postdoctoral researcher at New York University. She has worked as a data scientist and her previous accomplishments include fine-tuning the best Swedish speech-to-text model. She is currently the Founding Data Scientist at Redpine, where she leads the scientific endeavour aimed at unlocking proprietary data for AI agents while ensuring fair compensation for data owners.

The company was founded by Anders Hammarbäck (CEO, ex-VC, McKinsey) and David Österdahl (CTPO, ex-Spotify, Zettle), with Leonora Vesterbacka (CERN, ETH, NYU) as the Founding Data Scientist.
