Joel-Oskar Räisänen Principal DTCP

Joel-Oskar Raisanen is a Principal and a European deal lead at DTCP, investing in growth-stage enterprise software, AI, defence, security and resilience technologies. DTCP manages >$4Bn of capital and has backed companies including Groq (now Nvidia), Quantum Systems, Kraken, Pipedrive, Aircall, and Dash0. Previously, Joel-Oskar worked at a Washington D.C. based Paladin Capital investing into dual-use technologies and Bullhound Capital investing into high-growth software companies. Based in London, he works closely with operators, investors and policymakers on Europe’s evolving defence and security ecosystem, including DTCP’s €500M defence, security and resilience fund initiative. Joel-Oskar holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Finance from Aalto University (minor in Computer Science) and has completed executive education studies at Harvard.
