Securing capital is one of the biggest hurdles for science-based innovations. The European Innovation Council (EIC) represents Europe’s premier funding engine for startups—offering over €1.4 billion in available capital across its programmes, including non-dilutive grants up to €2.5M and direct equity investments up to €10M+ via the EIC Accelerator.
Join this interactive 90-minute masterclass to gain firsthand insights directly from EIC representatives on how to navigate EU funding opportunities for your startup.
What You Will Learn:
– Funding Opportunities: An overview of available EIC grants and equity options for deep tech startups.
– Criteria & Eligibility: What evaluators look for in high-impact, science-backed applications.
– Process & Roadmap: Practical guidance on application steps, evaluation stages, and timelines.
Come Prepared | Bring your questions! The session features a live Q&A segment where you can ask the experts directly about your startup’s funding path.

Considering Business Finland’s Sprint funding for your startup? This 90-minute masterclass offers a practical introduction to the funding instrument and helps founders understand whether it is suitable for their company’s current stage and objectives.
The session will explore how Sprint funding can support early-stage innovation, validation, and business development, as well as the role it can play in preparing a startup for future growth and international markets. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of what Business Finland expects from applicants, what a credible Sprint project may look like, and how to improve their readiness before applying.
The masterclass combines an expert presentation with an extended Q&A, giving participants the opportunity to ask practical questions and consider how Sprint funding could apply to their own company, innovation, and development plans.

Your technology works in the lab—but what needs to happen before it can be tested in a real industrial environment?
This practical workshop gives deep-tech founders a realistic understanding of how industrial partnerships begin and what they should prioritise over the next 12 months to make a future pilot possible.
Moving beyond laboratory validation often requires access to a plant, production line, fleet, testbed, or another operational environment controlled by an industrial partner. Building that access cannot wait until the technology is fully mature. Partner-selection processes may begin years in advance, qualification cycles can take 12–36 months, and the specifications that determine whether a technology can be adopted are often shaped by the industrial partner rather than the laboratory.
Instead of focusing on how to negotiate a pilot next month, participants will work backwards from a future pilot. The workshop will help founders align their technical roadmap, early partner conversations, validation plans, and next funding application with the requirements of real industrial adoption.
Participants will leave with a clearer view of the steps, relationships, and evidence they need to develop now to create a credible path from laboratory validation to an industrial pilot.
